Law 9000 is the Legal Best Practice Certification Programme launched in June 2004 by SAI-Global (Standards Australia). This is a highly recognised quality assurance system specifically designed for the legal profession.
Certification gives firms an edge through independent recognition of their achievements. Meehans reviewed its management system, surveyed clients and staff, implemented practice changes, trained staff, measured performance, and continue to review and improve its system. An SAI auditor assessed the system against internationally recognised good management principles and recommended the firm for certification.
