Paul Meehan is the Principal of the firm and has been providing legal services to the Macarthur area for over 25 years.

Paul has extensive experience in the areas of property law, and development and has for a number of years run seminars on a monthly basis in this area of the law.

Paul's expertise extends to franchising, acting for both franchisors and franchisees and the drafting of the Franchise Agreement and Disclosure Statements, Leasing, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Law and advising of business law to be set up to protect their assets.

The firm was founded on Paul's philosophy of providing "Exceptional Personal Service" and that philosophy was behind Meehans Solicitors becoming the first law firm in Macarthur to attain International Standards approval (ISO Law 9001).

It is the philosophy that has percolated down to every member of the Meehan team and is something of which Paul is most proud.

William (Bill) Meehan joined our team at Meehans in approximately 1994 after retiring as a Local Court Magistrate. As a senior member of our firm, Bill assists in all facets of the Law particularly Litigation and Court/Police matters due to his extensive knowledge and experience in the Court system. Bill is also the Law 9000 Co-Ordinator for the firm, ensuring Quality Assurance for each and every client.

Sean Cahill joined our team at Meehans in 2002. Sean has lived in the Macarthur area for many years and is aware of local issues and how they can have an impact on you.

Sean is an Accredited Family Law Specialist. In NSW there are over 20,000 Solicitors and just over 300 are Accredited Specialists in this complex area of law. If you need legal advice or representation then Sean will be able to explain the law to you in language that you can understand.

A long term statistic of cases decided under the Family Law Act is that 5 per cent of cases need to be decided by a Judge or Federal Magistrate and that the balance of cases are resolved by negotiation, or "settled out of Court". A constant statistic of Family Law matters at Meehans is that less than 2 per cent of cases need to be decided on a final basis by a Judge or Federal Magistrate.

Sean's primary focus is to assist people with problems by resolving them with a minimum of exposure to legal fees and in a manner that is legally binding and enforceable. Family Law is a complex area of law that directly interacts with many different areas of law, including superannuation, wills, ownership of real estate and other areas. Sean also has an extensive background in most forms of Civil Litigation, including Commercial matters, Family Provision and Probate matters and residential and commercial conveyancing.

Sean has been able to combine his experience in all areas of the law (including being employed by the Australian Taxation Office while studying) to assist clients in resolving their disputes, whether it is a family law matter, an estate matter, commercial advice or succession planning.

Sean is also a Public Notary.

Susanne Namrawi joined our team at Meehans in September 2006.

Susanne brings a fresh, energetic and professional approach to our firm.

Susanne's role at Meehans is varied to say the least. She is in charge of our Conveyancing department at our Campbelltown office and when she is not doing that, you will probably find her in Court representing our clients for either a criminal or a civil matter.

By her own initiative, Susanne has become familiar with the Industrial Relations regime regulating employers and employees Australia wide. Susanne is our resident Employment Law Specialist representing client's in tribunal and Court hearings, drafting and registering various workplace agreements compliant with the law applicable at any given time.

It is not too rare to find Susanne at a nursing home on a Saturday morning giving a speech about issues relevant to the elder community in Macarthur as part of her elder law practice.

Susanne has knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation and Personal injury type matters.

Karen Watson is a local of the Macarthur area and is involved in the local community and sporting clubs.

Karen has completed a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Western Sydney Macarthur and a Bachelor of Laws through the University of New England.

Karen joined Meehans Solicitors in September 2006 and is located at our Ingleburn office. Karen brings extensive experience to the firm having worked in civil and criminal litigation for over 12 years. Karen's general area of practice is in commercial law including insolvency, franchising, employment law, business structures, leasing and both civil and criminal litigation.

Steve Sidorovski graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics & Finance in 2004 and completed his Bachelor of Law in 2006. Steven went on to attain his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Distinction level.

Steven has grown up in the Campbelltown area having had many dealings with people in the local community through his involvement in small business and business management. As a result Steven has knowledge in Leasing matters, Debt Recovery and Civil Litigation. Prior to joining Meehans, Steven gained experience in a City law firm dealing with Conveyancing and Commercial transactions.

Steven joined the Meehans team in April 2008 and is competent in speaking and interpreting the Macedonian language.

John Pacchiarotta is a senior solicitor with over 20 years legal experience in private practice and the government sector.

He has a Master of Laws from the Australian National University, a Master of Arts from the University of Sydney and Bachelor of Science major in psychology from the University of New South Wales.

John is an officer in the Australian Defence Force Army Corps. He is also a Director on the Board of St Patrick's Ladies College.

John has extensive experience in sensitive commercial and litigious matters. He has represented local councils, sporting bodies and commercial enterprises. John's current focus is on assisting clients with litigation, business related issues, succession planning and property related matters John compliments the Meehan's' team with his commercial negotiation skills and many years of experience in handling complex mediation and litigation.
